This recipe is a variation on the Mango Salsa recipe. Try your own combination of fruits in salsa!

Chili Powder

Chili powder is not simply dried chilies but usually has other spices blended in. These can include oregano, garlic, coriander, cumin, onion powder allspice and cloves.


 

Melon Salsa



Servings = 8 | Serving size =1/4 cup (makes 2 cups)

Cooking Time = 30 Minutes

This recipe can be multiplied by 2, 3.

This recipe can be divisible by 2.

Keeps in the refrigerator for 24 hours at the most.

6 ounces cantaloupe
4 ounces honeydew melon
1/4 cup red onion
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp chili powder

Fold together the cantaloupe, honeydew, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt and chili powder.

Chill at least 4 hours.
