The rich creaminess of the Greek yogurt makes it the perfect base for a simple sauce. Simple is best, after all, and the touch of sweetness from the honey and tartness from the lemon juice makes for a perfect sauce for your dessert.

Try this on roasted fruit or even on a bowl of fresh berries.


 

Honey Yogurt Sauce

Servings: 2 | Serving size: 2 tablespoons sauce

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

This recipe can easily be multiplied and halved. Keeps well for several days in the refrigerator. Note that cooking time does not include chilling time.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Greek nonfat yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Whisk together the yogurt, honey and lemon juice.

Chill well before serving.
