Is this sausage safe to eat?

Would it be safe to cook sausage at 12pm leaving it out at room temperature to cool then re-cooking it at 7pm?

Dr. Gourmet Says...

No. This would be quite unsafe and actually very dangerous.

It is best to cook your sausage just before you are going to eat it.
